Publications: Markov processes on trees and their local times
Abstract
This paper derives necessary and sufficient
conditions for a Markov chain
on a tree to visit any one of its uncountable number of leaves enough
for it to build up a local time there. Additionally, when all local times
exist, conditions are found for them to be jointly continuous in both
time and space using existing results for symmetric Markov processes.
